Scientific-biblical evidence for ‘Is God real?’

The most important proof for God’s presence is creation, how it came about and the secrets behind its patterns. In order to understand creation scientifically, one should go back to its preliminary ingredients and how they existed. For all creations on our planet earth, the essential ingredients of life are in need of oxygen and water (which is made of oxygen too) All creatures on earth and in the seas cannot exist without air for breathing and water as the essential component of all creatures’ bodies; plants, animals and humans. Having gone through centuries of evidence-based scientific understanding of different creatures, a scientist’s mind would anticipate that logical steps be followed in order for creation to happen on earth.

Science: ‘Nothing’ cannot create a ‘thing’ as some atheists may claim, hence a mighty wise power must have been there before the ages and before time that could create and design the world we came into.

Bible: And the spirit of God was hovering upon the face of the water and God said let there be light and there was light and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. (Genesis 1:3-5).

Science: The scientific logic states that water had to be created first before any other creation since it is essential for life for plants, birds, animals and sea kingdoms. Also, water had to be of specific chemical structure with two molecules of hydrogen and one molecule of oxygen (H2O) otherwise it could be toxic to life forms. Furthermore, the Great Designer had to set the laws of physics which govern the firmament that allows the kingdom of birds to fly and travel between different parts of the earth, in spite of the power of gravity of the planet earth.

Bible: “Then God said, ‘Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.’ Thus, God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament. And God called the firmament Heaven. (Genesis 1:6-8).

Science: The gravity of the earth levels the waters on its outer surface and gathers it into seas and oceans along with more structured universe with stars and moons which made the seasons with different day length and changing heat on the earth which also impacted the water temperature.

Bible: “Then God said, ‘Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear’. And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. (Genesis 1:9). “Then God said, ‘Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth’ (Genesis 1:14-19).

Science: In order to have future living creatures on the earth and in the seas, grass, plants and trees must be created first, otherwise, what would those creatures eat and live on. How can those green leaved plants be made, rich in water and minerals as well as having the ability of absorbing the toxic air (CO2) and releasing pure oxygen, under the sun, for all creatures on earth to breath and live on.

Bible: “Then God said, ‘Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth’; and it was so.

Science: Having water to drink, oxygen to breath and grass, vegetables and fruits to eat it seems that the earth is ready now to receive living creatures to live on it, which will depend on each other in many aspects as we can see them now in our time. This needs a Great Designer to design different kingdoms of creatures on the dry land (animals), the ones that fly (birds) and the uncountable kingdoms of sea creatures, all of different colors, sizes and shapes with some a millimeter long and others few meters large.

Bible: Then God said “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast and “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.”

Science: The scientific comparison of humans with other creatures deserves a detailed account, however the simplest observation is that man walks with his head up looking to heaven and observing what is above and below him. Among too many other differences from the animal kingdom, man has special mental invention and creative abilities which made him develop civilizations over the course of thousands of years, traveling to the moon and other planets, but he still remains mortal and unable to create out of nothing or to give life.

Bible: Let us make man in our image according to our likeness. Let him have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.

Conclusion: The scientific understanding of living creatures on earth, their characteristics, features, life style is compatible with the details of the events of creation, and their order as stated in the book of Genesis. The simplest additional evidence man should remember is how an unseen bug could kill this great man with all his unique abilities.
