Sunday School Primary (4-11 Yrs)

Welcome to St Marks Coptic Orthodox Primary Sunday School.

In this new day and age, our youth and kids are constantly bombarded with difficult challenges, temptations, peer pressure and are always in search of purpose and meaning of life. At St Marks Coptic Orthodox Church, we aim to lay the foundation of each child’s spiritual journey as early as possible to be fulfilling and wholesome as possible. We encourage children from receiption years to learn and honour our rich Orthodox Heritage as well as live as active and model ambassadors of Christ who can apply the richness of their faith to all of life’s experiences. It is also somewhere for them to build good friendships in the church. Lessons are interactive, and classes are interspersed with various activities and conferences throughout the year.

We have a team of dedicated and faithful servants that work hard to establish a purposeful Christian Orthodox Curriculum fostering the teachings of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We aim to serve and nurture our children from the young age of 4 to 11 years old. This is the chance for children to become grounded in their faith, and the teachings of the church.

Under the guidance of Rev Father Serapion, we hold the following Sunday School Primary activities:

– Weekly Sunday School sessions
– Weekly Coptic Hymn lessons
– Spiritual retreat days
– Fun outings and team building activities
– Weekly meetings and prayer sessions for all servants

– Anual attendance of the YCYC (Young Coptic Youth Conference) under the guidance of HE Bishop Angelos.

We look forward in welcoming you and your family to our St Marks home.
