Sunday School

This is a chance for children and youth to become grounded in their faith, and the teachings of the church. It is also somewhere for them to build good friendships in the church. Lessons are interactive, and classes are interspersed with various activities and conferences throughout the year.

Meeting Time and Place

Primary School Age (4-11 yrs) – Sundays 12.30-1.30 in St Mark's Church

Secondary School Age (11-18 yrs) – Sundays 1:00-2:00pm in St. Barnabas' School (Pembroke Mews 58 Earl's Court Road, London W8 6EJ)

 


 

"In Oct/Nov 2012, Year 7 studied in a lot of detail the Tabernacle of Meeting and all the different symbols which links it to the New Testament as well as our own life today. One day, God spoke to Moses and asked him to build him a house for Him to live amongst His People Israel. The house was to be called the Tabernacle of Meeting. God gave Moses  all the details of how to build the Tabernacle. God said to Moses, “Let them make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them” (Exodus 25:8). We got to learn that the Tabernacle of Meeting is made up of 3 main areas: The Outer Court, The Holy & the Holy of Holies. This structure resembles our church today where we also have an Outer Court outside church, the main church & the inner Holy Sanctuary.
