The Stones Cry Out - Film Screening

On Sunday 9th February we are very lucky to be holding a screening of the powerful film “The Stones Cry Out” – a movie which tells the story of Palestinian Christians living in Bethlehem.

stonesFurthermore, the director of the movie, Yasmine Perni, will be joining us for the screening, and will be available for a Q&A session after the movie.

A SOAS graduate, Yasmine has worked as a journalist, photographer and television producer, and is now a mother of three. She spent much of her life living in the Middle East, and was in Egypt for over 10 years; she returned back to her come country, Italy, only last year.

The screening will be held at 1pm at Maria Assumpta (2nd floor, in the room in which Junior Unity Meeting is usually held). For more information email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

This is a wonderful opportunity for us to find out about, and be inspired by, the perseverance and pride of Palestinian Christians who “have played a critical role in their land’s history, and the struggle to maintain its identity”. For more information about the film, check out its website:
Hope you can make it!
